Another Way: Living and Leading Change On Purpose

Another Way centers on four practices known through the acronym C.A.R.E.: Create hospitable space. Ask self-awakening questions. Reflect theologically together. Enact the next most faithful step. These practices are the building blocks for discerning, accompanying others, and living and leading change on purpose. 

These practices challenge systems in need of liberation and reject the “cult of individualism” that often leaves people burned out, unwell, and unable to meaningfully lead churches, nonprofits and other institutions. Another Way was written for, and dedicated to, “a new generation of people—the dreamers, freedom fighters, artists, and warrior-healers—who refuse to accept things as they are as all that there is.”
